Su Jackson is an artist, author, metalsmith, and fashion designer. She received her BFA in Metalsmithing from The University of Kansas and is currently pursuing an MFA at The University of North Texas. Su works as a Teaching Fellow in the UNT Metalsmithing Department, implementing introductory curriculum in both Metalsmithing and Jewelry.

Her studio work consists of a variety of techniques in both metal and textiles. Su’s passion has transitioned over the years from garment design to sculptural wearables. She particularly enjoys casting natural objects in bronze and combining them with felted wool and embroidered details. Su also utilizes her creative writing skills to lend detailed narratives to her bodies of work.
